In the 11th minute of the match CSM ALEXANDRIA got a corner. Albiceleste F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Olimpiu Hortopan ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Olimpiu Hortopan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Clemente Artizar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Froilan Soter during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes Albiceleste F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Soter. After 21 played minutes Albiceleste F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Quilino. CSM ALEXANDRIA's Olimpiu Hortopan took a good shot, in the 22nd minute, which hit the crossbar above Clemente Artizar's head, and flew over the goal. Albiceleste F.C.'s manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by CSM ALEXANDRIA. Clemente Artizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Panciu in the 26th minute of the match. Clemente Artizar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virgil Panciu went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Clemente Artizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Harnagea in the 32nd minute of play. Clemente Artizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisc Drăgoi in the 34th minute of the match. The Albiceleste F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CSM ALEXANDRIA were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Avellaneda to make the kick off. The referee ignored Albiceleste F.C.'s protests and gave Reynaldo Maria a yellow card for diving instead. Mihnea Harnagea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clemente Artizar came out and tried to block the shot, but Mihnea Harnagea slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 61st minute. When Aristide Ciompec came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the CSM ALEXANDRIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristide Ciompec couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Albiceleste F.C.'s goalkeeper Clemente Artizar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisc Drăgoi. 72 minutes into the match, CSM ALEXANDRIA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Avellaneda came free, but Airidas Brazauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CSM ALEXANDRIA's zone, Tomás Avellaneda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Airidas Brazauskas came out of the goal and Tomás Avellaneda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the game, CSM ALEXANDRIA's Francisc Drăgoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente Artizar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 84th match minute, Albiceleste F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Mambru to maneuver through the defense. CSM ALEXANDRIA played a much better game than Albiceleste F.C. and deserved their victory. The Albiceleste F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
