The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perivaldo Saraiva made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Tomás Avellaneda sent off a good shot on target. Clemente Artizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Farias, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Umberto Barros fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The supporters of Arrozal FC booed when Albiceleste F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arrozal FC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Saraiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Tomás Avellaneda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albiceleste F.C.'s Clemente Artizar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Albiceleste F.C. from getting a goal against them. After having played for 65 minutes, Erubiel Farias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrozal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Farias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Tomás Avellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albiceleste F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Avellaneda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perivaldo Saraiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute of the match Albiceleste F.C. got a corner. Arrozal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cosme Justin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Albiceleste F.C.'s corner Cosme Justin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Perivaldo Saraiva quite easily take care of the ball. Umberto Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clemente Artizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Farias, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Farias in the 89th minute of play forced Albiceleste F.C.'s goalkeeper Clemente Artizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Fernando Moreno took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Clemente Artizar to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over Arrozal FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Albiceleste F.C. throughout the match.
