After 4 minutes, Rony Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gato Preto FC and the Monitor Huáscar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Rony Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute Chiquito Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bernardinho Bala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 minutes of play, Monitor Huáscar's Chiquito Rico made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chicão Peixoto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nazario Victorica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Peixoto having to interfere. After 16 minutes of play, Monitor Huáscar's Chiquito Rico made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chicão Peixoto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chicão Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquito Rico in the 20th minute of the match. Chiquito Rico scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chicão Peixoto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chicão Peixoto came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Monitor Huáscar's Chiquito Rico. But to his dismay, Chiquito Rico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 32 minutes into the game, Monitor Huáscar's Chiquito Rico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chicão Peixoto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 35th minute, Chiquito Rico made a precise shot to the right of Chicão Peixoto. Gato Preto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. 38 minutes into the game, Monitor Huáscar's Chiquito Rico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chicão Peixoto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Chiquito Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. After the first half Monitor Huáscar were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chiquito Rico to strike the kick off in the second half. Chiquito Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Moreira during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, one of Gato Preto FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gato Preto FC. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Monitor Huáscar's Chiquito Rico got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Chicão Peixoto. Apostol Sokolov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Milian Lopez hit a great ball. In the 68th match minute, Monitor Huáscar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milian Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Chiquito Rico took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chicão Peixoto. Chicão Peixoto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Chiquito Rico might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chicão Peixoto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chiquito Rico ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the match, Gato Preto FC's goalkeeper Chicão Peixoto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chiquito Rico. 75 minutes into the game, Chiquito Rico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Chicão Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Monitor Huáscar's Nazario Victorica got a free kick in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's Chiquito Rico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chicão Peixoto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Chiquito Rico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chicão Peixoto, 0-13. Chiquito Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chiquito Rico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chicão Peixoto came out and tried to block the shot, but Chiquito Rico slotted it home off the left post making it 0-14 in the 89th minute. Monitor Huáscar's Chiquito Rico got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Monitor Huáscar's Chiquito Rico in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gato Preto FC's goalie prevented a goal. Chiquito Rico was extremely unlucky when he, in the 101st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Monitor Huáscar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
