But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Gorman couldn't finish the play. Nikolas Papadamous made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Jacinto Maurer sent off a good shot on target. The Jacksonville FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
