Cauã Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Radowit Walczyk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 74 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner.
