In the 18th minute, Samuele Kunz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Switzerland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Samuele Kunz put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Costică Popa. The supporters of Switzerland booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Pârâianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Samuele Kunz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costică Popa came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Switzerland's Samuele Kunz. But to his dismay, Samuele Kunz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 36 minutes into the match, Samuele Kunz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Costică Popa. Raureni Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuele Kunz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Maurer in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costică Popa saved Raureni Academy from getting behind. Raureni Academy's Costică Popa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuele Kunz in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Rodrigo von Känel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Popa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Costică Popa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The Raureni Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Switzerland were winning 0-6.

Samuele Kunz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Costică Popa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Switzerland played a much better game than Raureni Academy and deserved their victory. The Raureni Academy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
