Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Petr Školník took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henning Eriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. André Carrillo's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Carrillo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Netherlands booed when FC Jamala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Carrillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petr Školník showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 25th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Henning Eriksson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnout Reekers. The goal made the score 1-0. Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henning Eriksson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petr Školník was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petr Školník showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Loco Martin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, FC Jamala's Petr Školník got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Jamala's Loco Martin got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Petr Školník tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Loco Martin went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Jamala's goalkeeper Petr Školník to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Petr Školník successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Petr Školník showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. FC Jamala's Petr Školník proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FC Jamala from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Martin came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Jamala's Petr Školník played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 84th minute of play. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. FC Jamala's Petr Školník played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 90th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wim Wilmes in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petr Školník saved FC Jamala from getting behind. After having played for 93 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Školník saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Bas Tuitert got a free kick in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Jamala had won after a very even match.
