Ahmet Refik Seci who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Keld Paulsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 5 minutes into the match, FC Seroczyn's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Arkadiusz Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arkadiusz Donnarumma. FC Seroczyn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Nygaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulryk Podolski during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Ulryk Podolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Keld Paulsen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Seroczyn were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Denmark's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Javi Mascherano took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Seroczyn's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Donnarumma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arkadiusz Donnarumma was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Donnarumma having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Seroczyn's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arkadiusz Donnarumma came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arkadiusz Donnarumma was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC Seroczyn's Rain Judin got a free kick in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, FC Seroczyn's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Arkadiusz Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Denmark's Mikkel Wulff managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wieslaw Grabowicz in the 51 minute of the game. In the 56th minute, Cai Cubero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Seroczyn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with Arkadiusz Donnarumma in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rain Judin hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, FC Seroczyn's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Arkadiusz Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arkadiusz Donnarumma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match Denmark got a corner. FC Seroczyn's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Nygaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Donnarumma having to interfere. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Mathias Ludvigsen hit a great ball. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Refik Seci's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. The FC Seroczyn players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
