Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Samuele Kunz took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's Augustin Ponta got a free kick in the 8th minute. Sergiu Corcoveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Switzerland's Samuele Kunz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilian Pora narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Valeriu Cosariu lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Hias Nüssli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuele Kunz in the 26th minute of play forced Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Emilian Pora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Maurer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Emilian Pora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Switzerland made a substitution. Jürg von Ballmoos replaced Rodrigo von Känel. Marian Covrig hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Samuele Kunz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th match minute, Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Ponta to maneuver through the defense. Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's Emilian Pora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuele Kunz in the 34th minute of play. Sergiu Corcoveanu struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Hias Nüssli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca. Hias Nüssli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Lera, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mugur Tremurici during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's Mugur Tremurici got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Valeriu Cosariu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The supporters of Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fridolin Neumeister didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergiu Corcoveanu made a kick off. Valeriu Cosariu's late challenge caught a Switzerland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valeriu Cosariu helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simone Bösiger got free with Emilian Pora in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergiu Corcoveanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Switzerland's Samuele Kunz in the 67th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Emilian Pora was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca through an amazing save. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samuele Kunz was slow to take the kick. During this time Switzerland's players had a chance to rest. Emilian Pora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simone Bösiger in the 78th minute of play. Hias Nüssli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergiu Corcoveanu went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
