Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nils Billing started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Karlsson. In the 25th minute, Lars Meesters made a precise shot to the right of Ian Brun. Haganäsgränd TT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ian Brun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ian Brun was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Billing. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Brun. Ian Brun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Haganäsgränd TT's Ian Brun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 41st minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Billing in the 55th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Haganäsgränd TT's Roland Karlsson. But to his dismay, Roland Karlsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 62nd minute, Johannes Skräddare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired a really elegant long shot, but Ian Brun threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. 66 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Karlsson came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Brun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 71st match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Nijveldt to maneuver through the defense. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ian Brun firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 80 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Lars Meesters. 82 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ian Brun, 1-5. Wim Wilmess short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Ian Brun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 96th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bas Tuitert to maneuver through the defense. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
