But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafettin Bostan saved Araklılı Avareler 1961 from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a free kick in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Araklılı Avareler 1961's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafettin Bostan came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferdinando Michelini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Chris Nygaard lined in a short shot 4-5 behind a frustrated Rafettin Bostan. The Araklılı Avareler 1961 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denmark were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
