Biagio Tolin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Toledo's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute Miguel Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio Tolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Toledo in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Medoacus Maior's zone, David Aranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Tolin came out of the goal and David Aranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute Spain were awarded a corner. Omar Toledo went to the cornerflag to take it. Spain's Jonathan Criado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Biagio Tolin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Leggeri got free with Gabriel Ascaso in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Spain from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 34th minute of play forced Medoacus Maior's goalkeeper Biagio Tolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urtungo Verdejo in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gabriel Ascaso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cristiano Leggeri hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Spain from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Medoacus Maior's goal looked a bit too open when Adria Bielsa came free, but Biagio Tolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spain were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Medoacus Maior's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Omar Toledo took the corner. The corner ended in Jonathan Criado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Medoacus Maior's Biagio Tolin did a great save. The Spain fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Spain's Omar Toledo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Medoacus Maior's Biagio Tolin got control of the ball when Omar Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match Spain got a corner. Medoacus Maior's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Omar Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Spain's David Aranda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Biagio Tolin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Medoacus Maior getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Diego Barresi hit a great ball. Diego Barresi kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Biagio Tolin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 71st minute of the match. Spain's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adria Bielsa in the 72nd minute. The corner ended in Enrique Rabellino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Medoacus Maior's Biagio Tolin did a great save. If David Aranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Medoacus Maior's Miguel Tristan got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Spain made a substitution. Pau Herrero replaced David Aranda. Spain's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
