The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Qin Ke Kun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. Igor Haikin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 9th minute of the match. De-la-Cruz Fantasia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. After 13 minutes Italy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yngve Johnstad who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Haikin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Qin Ke Kun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Haikin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballkam Sportsklubb's goalkeeper Igor Haikin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Italy's Eliseo Cutri quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rune Saltnes, made in the 24th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 25th minute of play forced Ballkam Sportsklubb's goalkeeper Igor Haikin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballkam Sportsklubb's Igor Haikin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Zaccheo Andolina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Haikin was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Haikin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Rune Saltnes in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Eliseo Cutri.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaccheo Andolina to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Haikin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 53rd minute of play forced Ballkam Sportsklubb's goalkeeper Igor Haikin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Ballkam Sportsklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Igor Haikin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Zaccheo Andolina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Igor Haikin. That made the score 0-3 in the 61 minute of play. Ballkam Sportsklubb's Ianis Hagi was substituted for Liu Ying Qing. A throw-in in the 66th minute of the game was made by Rune Saltnes with Ianis Hagi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Haikin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Sostene Vitulli hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Igor Haikin in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zaccheo Andolina took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Haikin. Igor Haikin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 80 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Gomberto Picozzi. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Igor Haikin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Curto, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Ballkam Sportsklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Curto came free, but Igor Haikin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Adriano Curto put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Igor Haikin. The audience was convinced that Nikki Kassa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Vittori was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
