Aytekin Hicab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yunus Canver in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. Göpsen FC's İlmi Birsel got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute Yunus Canver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Göpsen FC's Yunus Canver nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 20 minutes of play, Göpsen FC's Yunus Canver made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! İlmi Birsel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aytekin Hicab read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Germany's Linus Schwerner managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vahdet Canbolat in the 32 minute of the game. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Göpsen FC's goalkeeper Aytekin Hicab, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. İlmi Birsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Göpsen FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. François Béasse hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 37th minute. İlmi Birsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Göpsen FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Yunus Canver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdi Ökkeş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere.

Aytekin Hicab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute İlmi Birsel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İlmi Birsel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İlmi Birsel's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute of the game Chris Mergenthaler made a throw-in which Frank Sachs played forward. Yunus Canver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Germany's Aytekin Hicab threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albin Holweck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. İlmi Birsel took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aytekin Hicab saved Göpsen FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Aytekin Hicab in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yunus Canver took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Vahdet Canbolat's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vahdet Canbolat helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Göpsen FC's Vahdet Canbolat got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Göpsen FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
