Frank Sachs made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Niedbalski came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hammer Zdanów's Cristian Lucchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 5th minute of play. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Gwidon Niedbalski scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 1-0. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Niedbalski in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryszard Murdza. After having played for 18 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the game, Ryszard Murdza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Ryszard Murdza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Cristian Lucchetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Niedbalski came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gwidon Niedbalski to strike the kick off in the second half. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 54th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Gwidon Niedbalski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ryszard Murdza took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Niedbalski in the 67th minute of play. When Gwidon Niedbalski came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Hammer Zdanów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwidon Niedbalski couldn't finish the play. After 73 minutes, Lê Foder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hammer Zdanów and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 minutes of play, Hammer Zdanów's Leonard Bator made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Niedbalski in the 84th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Ryszard Murdza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryszard Murdza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. 90 minutes into the game, Lê Foder threw the ball into play from the sideline. Germany's Linus Schwerner quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hammer Zdanów fully deserved thier win.
