Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Gregorius Mouning sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the match, AC Farsaebarca's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Harold Hjelton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mads Glastrup hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Wim Wilmes made a precise shot to the right of Harold Hjelton. AC Farsaebarca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Rolf Kuld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 28th minute of play forced AC Farsaebarca's goalkeeper Harold Hjelton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Farsaebarca's Nichlas Glastrup slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-1 after 30 minutes of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorius Mouning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 37th minute of play forced AC Farsaebarca's goalkeeper Harold Hjelton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichlas Glastrup in the 38th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Harold Hjelton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AC Farsaebarca's Nichlas Glastrup got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 53rd minute of play forced AC Farsaebarca's goalkeeper Harold Hjelton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 minutes of play, AC Farsaebarca's Piet Lewandowski made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 58 played minutes AC Farsaebarca got a freekick which was hit by Gregorius Mouning. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a great ball. 66 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when AC Farsaebarca's Nichlas Glastrup fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. AC Farsaebarca made a substitution. Elias Steinmejer replaced Mads Glastrup. Harold Hjelton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 69th minute of the match. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harold Hjelton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Farsaebarca's Harold Hjelton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, AC Farsaebarca's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichlas Glastrup in the 83rd minute of play. Netherlands's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
