An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 19th minute of play forced I uomo del popolo's goalkeeper Arman Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arman Ström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Arman Ström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, I uomo del popolo's Håkan Skott got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th match minute, I uomo del popolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Allbom to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arman Ström skillfully saved the ball. 33 minutes into the match, I uomo del popolo's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Arman Ström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, I uomo del popolo's Jimmy Sandberg got a free kick in the 34th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Albin Allbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arman Ström. I uomo del popolo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The I uomo del popolo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håkan Skott struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for I uomo del popolo. After 57 played minutes Gijsbert ter Kruimer rounded I uomo del popolo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Arman Ström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Vall in the 61st minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, I uomo del popolo's Håkan Skott got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 77 minutes I uomo del popolo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arman Ström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arman Ström having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 82nd minute of play forced I uomo del popolo's goalkeeper Arman Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Håkan Skott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. I uomo del popolo's Arman Ström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save I uomo del popolo from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, I uomo del popolo's Arman Ström got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Skott, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by I uomo del popolo's Reine Örtlund. But to his dismay, Reine Örtlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 97 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arman Ström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in I uomo del popolo's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arman Ström came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than I uomo del popolo.
