If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Italy's zone, Allan Olsmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal and Allan Olsmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renato de Mendonça came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Siricio Liotta. But to his dismay, Siricio Liotta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 47th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 86th minute, Siricio Liotta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Renato de Mendonça, passed just outside the right post. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ≮王者归来≯爱小羽·爱生活's goalkeeper Renato de Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
