Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC Dundee's Kaido Jaas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaido Jaas in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Viriato Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ain Averin was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. The FC Dundee fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when FC Dundee's Kaido Jaas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After taking down the ball on FC Dundee's corner Arvo Kena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilson Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ain Averin having to make a save. 35 minutes into the match, FC Dundee's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Ain Averin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Graciano Coutinho hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. FC Dundee's Ain Averin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 51st minute of play. Ain Averin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Edvin Hargi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. It was Felipe Barreto who took care of the corner kick. Rodolfo Miranda made a great header on Portugal's corner, it was just that FC Dundee's Ain Averin managed to reach the ball for a save. Ain Averin came out of the goal and Felipinho Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ain Averin. Ain Averin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 85 minutes into the match, FC Dundee's goalkeeper Ain Averin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. 86 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Arno Luuk came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arno Luuk charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arno Luuk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arno Luuk hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ain Averin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomeu Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Portugal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
