Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kenneth Strandsgaard came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Zaccheo Andolina. But to his dismay, Zaccheo Andolina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A well-hit corner resulted in Gianpaolo Mascari heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Kenneth Strandsgaard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenneth Strandsgaard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
