In the 16th minute, Adria Bielsa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes in the game, Leon Goretzka fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gabriel Ascaso having to interfere. The Alzaga FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Alzaga FC's Leon Goretzka looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Leon Goretzka sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the match, Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leon Goretzka. Alzaga FC's Arcadio Buendia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Toledo in the 38th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Goretzka in the 43rd minute of play. Arcadio Buendia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Leon Goretzka made the kick off in the second half. After taking down the ball on Spain's corner Jon Cubero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arcadio Buendia quite easily take care of the ball. Arcadio Buendia was a little too slow when Jon Cubero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Robert Rutkowski struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Gabriel Ascaso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alzaga FC. Spain made a substitution. Carles Cherro replaced Omar Toledo. Spain made a substitution. Sergio Ruiz replaced Adria Bielsa. Bernardo Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
