Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Sachs kicked off to start the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Markham in the 7th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Kai Østbye. In the 15th minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leif Opdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd minute, Emmanuel Schol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 28 minutes, Emanuel Markham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brufoss IL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Markham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Emmanuel Schol's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emmanuel Schol helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Emmanuel Schol got a free kick in the 37th minute. Leif Opdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Frode Tobiassen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Markham made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Frode Tobiassen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Leif Opdal made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Schol to maneuver through the defense. Brufoss IL's Leif Opdal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Brufoss IL from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Emanuel Markham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Emanuel Markham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brufoss IL's August Bergsland was substituted for Frode Tobiassen. In the 68th minute Kai Østbye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Bergsland in the 70th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers August Bergsland in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. After 73 minutes, Kai Østbye mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brufoss IL and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Kai Østbye. If Emanuel Markham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Germany booed when Brufoss IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Arne Bruvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leif Opdal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Leif Opdal made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leif Opdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Emanuel Markham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
