Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Orfilio Orbañanos made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Ariel Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U. de Tarapacá's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kim Heers in the 9th minute. The audience was convinced that Wim Wilmes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ariel Balboa was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 18th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Muharrem Duman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Balboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariel Balboa. U. de Tarapacá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Orfilio Orbañanos took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ariel Balboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orfilio Orbañanos in the 42nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Balboa saved U. de Tarapacá from getting behind. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orfilio Orbañanos in the 50th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Orfilio Orbañanos managed to get in a good position for a shot. U. de Tarapacá's supporters rose to their feet, but Orfilio Orbañanos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Barcena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U. de Tarapacá's Domingo Barcena got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domingo Barcena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ariel Balboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. With his leg Ariel Balboa managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save U. de Tarapacá from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in U. de Tarapacá's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Balboa came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orfilio Orbañanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gijsbert ter Kruimer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gijsbert ter Kruimer to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
