Floris Claeys made in the 2nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Girondins4Ever's Sefa Borlu. Angelo Melani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 4th minute of the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Edward Vanderstraeten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Girondins4Ever's Angelo Melani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Girondins4Ever's goalkeeper Angelo Melani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Qiao Lei Quan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Casper Claes. Qiao Lei Quan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The throw-in from Floris Claeys in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Girondins4Ever's Sefa Borlu. Angelo Melani came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Girondins4Ever's Qiao Lei Quan in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgium's goalie prevented a goal. When Dorian Colle came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Girondins4Ever fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorian Colle couldn't finish the play. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qiao Lei Quan in the 38th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Melani. Angelo Melani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Girondins4Ever players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belgium were winning 1-2.
The wind increased when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Girondins4Ever's Fabrice Verin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fabrice Verin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Girondins4Ever protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fabrice Verin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 50 minutes into the game, one of Girondins4Ever:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Angelo Melani had in the 52ndth minute some difficulties stopping Edward Vanderstraeten's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Yves Dervaux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Angelo Melani made a huge save. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Pascal Rouge in the 59th minute of the match. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 68 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Melani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Girondins4Ever getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ivan Cordearo hit a great ball. Girondins4Ever made a substitution. Igor Thibault replaced Dorian Colle. After a rather tough play, Girondins4Ever's Ivan Cordearo got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Girondins4Ever's goalkeeper Angelo Melani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Angelo Melani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Angelo Melani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Thibault came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Edward Vanderstraeten came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. Girondins4Ever's Angelo Melani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Girondins4Ever from getting a goal against them.
