Xaime Palencia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 21 minutes into the match, VAR is coming's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pimentel came free, but Xaime Palencia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Jakes Ortiz scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Amorim, making the score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Julin in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 27th minute of play forced VAR is coming's goalkeeper Xaime Palencia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the VAR is coming defense, Daniel Pimentel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xaime Palencia. The VAR is coming fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xaime Palencia should have stopped the shot. Wilson Amorim was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Kurt Julin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kurt Julin really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Xaime Palencia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xaime Palencia saved VAR is coming from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 39th minute of play forced VAR is coming's goalkeeper Xaime Palencia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Cambiasso kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Xaime Palencia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in VAR is coming's zone, Felipe Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xaime Palencia came out of the goal and Felipe Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Galnares in the 51st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Xaime Palencia threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Pimentel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 58th minute VAR is coming were awarded a corner. Zenon De Pablo went to the cornerflag to take it. After 61 minutes, Felipe Barreto made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. VAR is coming's Xaime Palencia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by VAR is coming's Jakes Ortiz. But to his dismay, Jakes Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. In the 71st minute Jakes Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VAR is coming's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zenon De Pablo in the 73rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Xaime Palencia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakes Ortiz in the 80th minute of the match. Xaime Palencia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 81st minute. After 84 minutes of play, VAR is coming's Rubén Litago made it 6-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th minute Paul Basarab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by 盛世 Kiær in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Bruno Bastos.
