Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Di Maio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. KFC Nederename's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Takacs Tibor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Di Maio was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Nicky Coenen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fodor Daniel came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicky Coenen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, KFC Nederename's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Bernardo Di Maio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Nicky Coenen could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Fodor Daniel however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of KFC Nederename booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vörös Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre El Abidine Ben Ali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Di Maio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Nicky Coenen sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wannes van Elderen made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Antal Valentin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 55 minutes KFC Nederename's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. In the 56th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardo Di Maio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bernardo Di Maio made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. Hegedus Henrik was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Hungary's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Wannes van Elderen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Bernardo Di Maio made a huge save. The supporters of KFC Nederename booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wannes van Elderen struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Nederename. 79 minutes into the match, KFC Nederename's goalkeeper Bernardo Di Maio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. In the 82nd match minute, KFC Nederename was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philippe-Arnaud Reynders to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to KFC Nederename getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Janes De kaiser hit a great ball. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wannes van Elderen in the 92nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
