Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno Mazza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hegedus Henrik went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 13th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessio Volta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after U.P. Gavellese's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Bruno Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 20th minute of play. After 23 played minutes U.P. Gavellese got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Macias. 23 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bruno Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After some careless play in the U.P. Gavellese defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Mazza. The U.P. Gavellese fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Mazza should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Mazza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by U.P. Gavellese's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. U.P. Gavellese's Bruno Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessio Volta. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Bruno Mazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. After a rather tough play, U.P. Gavellese's Ricardo Kaká got a free kick in the 47th minute. The U.P. Gavellese players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 1-2.

A collision led to U.P. Gavellese getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Fortunato Lemme hit a great ball. In the 52nd match minute, U.P. Gavellese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Bulla to maneuver through the defense. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Bulla in the 55th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Bulla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Bruno Mazza in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Volta in the 61st minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Bulla in the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by U.P. Gavellese's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Vörös Henrik was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 72nd minute, Antal Valentin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bruno Mazza. The goal made the score 1-3. U.P. Gavellese's Bruno Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save U.P. Gavellese from getting a goal against them. Hegedus Henrik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessio Volta in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. The supporters of Hungary booed when U.P. Gavellese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fortunato Lemme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bruno Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessio Volta hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hungary's goalie and right to Carlos Fernando Bertassi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hungary's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
