Iurie Chiriacescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hegedus Henrik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Văcărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. AC MiLaN's Emil Văcărescu got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iurie Chiriacescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavius Pârâianu in the 14th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iurie Chiriacescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. AC MiLaN's Iurie Chiriacescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 17th minute of play. Emil Văcărescus short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Fodor Daniel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Antal Valentin scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iurie Chiriacescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Flavius Pârâianu had several of the Hungary's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Fodor Daniel as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 32nd minute, Hegedus Henrik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 42nd minute, Takacs Tibor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Văcărescu got free with Fodor Daniel in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Pârâianu in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Flavius Pârâianu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hungary's Takacs Tibor got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavius Pârâianu to strike the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Văcărescu in the 51st minute of the match. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavius Pârâianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Hegedus Henrik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Chiriacescu having to interfere. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Văcărescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Major Barna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Iurie Chiriacescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Major Barna slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 63rd minute. Iurie Chiriacescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balazs Lajos in the 67th minute. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after AC MiLaN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iurie Chiriacescu quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AC MiLaN's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iurie Chiriacescu came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Văcărescu in the 75th minute of play. AC MiLaN's Ionică Vornicescu was substituted for Aurelian Acalinei. AC MiLaN's Basarab Avram was substituted for Emil Văcărescu. The corner ended in Nae Ionescu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. In the 79th minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Iurie Chiriacescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Iurie Chiriacescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when AC MiLaN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radu Tremurici didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th match minute, AC MiLaN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristide Herlea to maneuver through the defense. Aristide Herlea hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basarab Avram in the 90th minute of the match. AC MiLaN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filip Vlaicu in the 91st minute. Filip Vlaicu made a great header on AC MiLaN's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, AC MiLaN's Iurie Chiriacescu got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Balazs Lajos could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Iurie Chiriacescu however easily saved by the left post. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
