Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 3rd minute of play forced Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Rosio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 8 minutes on the clock, Egbert Nijveldt commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Netherlands fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the Atletas Campesinos F.C. defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Rosio. The Atletas Campesinos F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Rosio should have stopped the shot. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Paulo Rosio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Atletas Campesinos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Dantae didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 played minutes, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Rosio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Netherlands reached it. In the 41st minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Rosio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Federigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. In the 44th minute David Eikelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Rosio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Dalmacio Transito charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Transito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Dalmacio Transito got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 69th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When David Eikelkamp came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Eikelkamp couldn't finish the play. After 79 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Transito. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Paulo Rosio in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Transito. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Galindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Galindo came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Galindo came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atletas Campesinos F.C. throughout the match.
