Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Arman Finsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 19th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arman Finsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balazs Lajos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell Hedin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Arman Finsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Hegedus Henrik heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.

52 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Tor Magnusson came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Hegedus Henrik hit a great ball. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
