Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Sachs got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Etienne Van Achteren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wils FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Etienne Van Achteren, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Andreas Frans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the game, Wils FC's Edwin Koppen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Edwin Koppen made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 14thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Tommy Kahn would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Frans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald De Messemaeckre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Wils FC's Harald De Messemaeckre in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. In the 39th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Frans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald De Messemaeckre, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald De Messemaeckre in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Edwin Koppen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wils FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin Koppen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Koppen in the 58th minute of the match. After 61 minutes, Malte Schiele mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Wils FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes, Wils FC's Edwin Koppen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy Kahn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wils FC reached it. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edwin Koppen's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Andreas Frans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Oscar De Putter kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wils FC's Andreas Frans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 72nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Frank Sachs got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andreas Frans quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 76 minutes into the match, Edwin Koppen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwin Koppen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 80th minute of the match Wils FC got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edwin Koppen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Etienne Van Achteren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Wils FC's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Frans came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wils FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
