Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erivaldo Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zheng Di Xi having to interfere. The supporters of MDS Soccer Club booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. MDS Soccer Club's Erivaldo Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albin Holweck struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Zheng Di Xi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zheng Di Xi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Ruy Duarte hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zheng Di Xi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giovanni de Sousa in the 44th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MDS Soccer Club were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Milosz Solecki took the corner. After 60 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute, Erivaldo Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of MDS Soccer Club booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Erivaldo Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MDS Soccer Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erivaldo Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Gmoch in the 80th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes, Fernando Jacinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MDS Soccer Club and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Fernando Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Zheng Di Xi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Germany could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MDS Soccer Club throughout the match.
