An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Baudelio in the 16th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Baudelio in the 19th minute of play. Luisito Silvino hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the match, Andres Frasco notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayhan Vuralhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ayhan Vuralhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Frasco in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnout Reekers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 41 minutes into the game, Andres Frasco lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Baudelio in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Baudelio in the 51st minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Baudelio in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Ayhan Vuralhan in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tequileros FC's Ayhan Vuralhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Tequileros FC from getting a goal against them. Ayhan Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 64th minute of play. David Eikelkamp charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Eikelkamp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tequileros FC booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eikelkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Ayhan Vuralhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Ayhan Vuralhan threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lars Meesterss short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Ayhan Vuralhan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ayhan Vuralhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 80th minute of the match. Venancio Azeari hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Edgard Lécuyer struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tequileros FC. In the 87thth minute of the game Edgard Lécuyer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute Edgard Lécuyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ayhan Vuralhan came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Han Yue Hong's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Han Yue Hong helped the player get up and apologised. Han Yue Hong hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Netherlands were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
