Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mihail Chimeț started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Horia Crăciunescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Chapuis in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, FC Inter Sibiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toader Nicolae to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Peletier in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horia Crăciunescu saved FC Inter Sibiu from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, Robert Chapuis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horia Crăciunescu. FC Inter Sibiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Chapuis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Horia Crăciunescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Frank Peletier sped through FC Inter Sibiu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horia Crăciunescu. In the 30th minute of the match, Mihail Chimeț got a very nice opportunity to score, but Maxime Durand was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Horia Crăciunescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Camille Baume took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horia Crăciunescu. Horia Crăciunescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Mircea Bostan put in a rough tackle. 41 minutes into the game, one of FC Inter Sibiu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for France. David Barbier stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Horia Crăciunescu. 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Peletier made a kick off. Horia Crăciunescu came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by France's Frank Peletier. But to his dismay, Frank Peletier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Camille Baume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes FC Inter Sibiu got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Cîrțu. In the 61st match minute, FC Inter Sibiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toader Nicolae to maneuver through the defense. After 64 minutes of play, France's Remy Dupuy made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horia Crăciunescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Horia Crăciunescu made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Remy Dupuy sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Camille Baume had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horia Crăciunescu. When the match was over France could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Inter Sibiu throughout the match.
