Fabio Quintyn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Moura's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 21st match minute, Húsares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Ted to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Húsares getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Roberto Ayala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Húsares walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
