The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Niziolek got free with Arnout Reekers in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Eikelkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waclaw Zecman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waclaw Zecman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Radarowcy Szczecin's Waclaw Zecman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waclaw Zecman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Radarowcy Szczecin's Waclaw Zecman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 19th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waclaw Zecman. Radarowcy Szczecin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Radarowcy Szczecin's Adam Niziolek. But to his dismay, Adam Niziolek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Adam Niziolek came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arnout Reekers could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 32nd minute of play forced Radarowcy Szczecin's goalkeeper Waclaw Zecman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Waclaw Zecman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waclaw Zecman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Romário in the 39th minute of play. Alfred Cielencki might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfred Cielencki ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The wind increased when Adam Niziolek made the kick off in the second half. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waclaw Zecman having to interfere. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Don Romário was slow to take the kick. During this time Radarowcy Szczecin's players had a chance to rest. Don Romário made a great header on Radarowcy Szczecin's corner, it was just that Netherlands's Arnout Reekers managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 65th minute, Adam Niziolek made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Radarowcy Szczecin made a substitution. Boguslaw Piesciuk replaced Don Romário. After having played for 69 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Radarowcy Szczecin's goalkeeper Waclaw Zecman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boguslaw Piesciuk took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. In the 87th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waclaw Zecman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Cielencki in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Radarowcy Szczecin.
