Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tobias Kellberg kicked off to start the match. Mikael Vennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 8th match minute, Överås BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Hedbom to maneuver through the defense. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikael Vennerström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Kellberg in the 11th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Kellberg in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. Mikael Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 13th minute of play. Tobias Mager could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Mikael Vennerström. Överås BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Mikael Vennerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes Överås BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mikael Vennerström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henric Magnusson in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Douglas Fransson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Netherlands's Bas Tuitert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 27 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 30th minute of play forced Överås BK's goalkeeper Mikael Vennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Tobias Kellberg sent off a good shot on target. Mikael Vennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Vennerström having to interfere. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mikael Vennerström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mikael Vennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Mikael Vennerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Douglas Fransson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Överås BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Hjälm to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Överås BK's goalkeeper Mikael Vennerström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 62nd minute Tobias Kellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Mikael Vennerström made a huge save. After 65 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Kees Mooiweer. In the 66th minute of the match Bengt Hedbom sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers skillfully saved the ball. Mikael Vennerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikael Vennerström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Tobias Mager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When David Eikelkamp fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherlands's protests and gave David Eikelkamp a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. Bengt Hedbom took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 86th minute, Wim Wilmes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mikael Vennerström. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 90th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Mikael Vennerström. Överås BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Överås BK's Mikael Vennerström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Överås BK from getting a goal against them.
