Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Jesus Satordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Montenegro in the 10th minute of play. Jannes Ruttens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Butler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When C. A. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Pipon Pipon the free kick. A collision led to Elizabeth Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Alonso Quesada hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Cristóvão Ortiz got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the last second Jannes Ruttens throw himself and got hold of the ball when Richard Scholten in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 33 minutes into the match, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Montenegro came free, but Jesus Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Cvetin Luković took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jannes Ruttens to make any attempt to save it. When C. A. Pipon Pipon's Beto Montenegro in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Elizabeth Three Lions FC made a substitution. Gerry Pullen replaced Michail Antonio. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Scholten made a kick off. Jannes Ruttens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Scholten, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Despite this Jesus Satordi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jesus Satordi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. C. A. Pipon Pipon made a substitution. Malcolm McIntosh replaced Beto Montenegro. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Benito Morin was substituted for Al Whatley. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Francesco Figueroa was substituted for Pepe Rompel. Richard Scholten scored 2-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jannes Ruttens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Jesus Satordi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Elizabeth Three Lions FC from getting a goal against them. Nicky Bryson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Jesus Satordi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Malcolm McIntosh in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesus Satordi saved Elizabeth Three Lions FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Richard Scholten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jannes Ruttens was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
