When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Torrey Molloy put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jesus Satordi. Alastair Howson got a throw-in 11 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Michail Antonio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michail Antonio got free with Ter Stegen in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Torrey Molloy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jesus Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torrey Molloy in the 15th minute of play. Torrey Molloy might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Satordi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torrey Molloy ran back to his position shaking his head. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Jesus Satordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torrey Molloy in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, 1948 MKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigan Frankson to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Cvetin Luković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Torrey Molloy managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1948 MKS's supporters rose to their feet, but Torrey Molloy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Satordi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's Torrey Molloy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Satordi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Butler in the 26th minute of play. Jesus Satordi came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by 1948 MKS's Torrey Molloy. But to his dismay, Torrey Molloy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alastair Howson made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Michail Antonio however managed to control. Michail Antonio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ter Stegen made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Torrey Molloy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesus Satordi was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. The throw-in from Alastair Howson in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by 1948 MKS's Beagan Colwell. Jesus Satordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torrey Molloy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigan Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Satordi having to interfere. Ersin Uyguralp hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richard Scholten to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Cvetin Luković cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ter Stegen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jesus Satordi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torrey Molloy in the 55th minute. Alastair Howson made in the 61st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gerry Pullen immediately put the ball in play. When Torrey Molloy came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the 1948 MKS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torrey Molloy couldn't finish the play. Jesus Satordi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torrey Molloy in the 64th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Rigan Frankson got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-3. 66 minutes into the match. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cvetin Luković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torrey Molloy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Jesus Satordi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 87 minutes of play, 1948 MKS's Torrey Molloy made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesus Satordi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 1948 MKS's attentive Beagan Colwell managed to snatch the ball when Alastair Howson made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. 1948 MKS's Beagan Colwell managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alastair Howson in the 95 minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. 1948 MKS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
