Jesse McJames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michail Antonio in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Smiddy Celts's goal looked a bit too open when Cvetin Luković came free, but Jesse McJames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Smiddy Celts getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Paddy Thomson hit a great ball. Jesus Satordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phillip McKeochan in the 31st minute of play. Jesus Satordi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
