Ged Nightingale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicky Bryson in the 11th minute of the match. C. A. Pipon Pipon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Al Whatley in the 12th minute. Al Whatley made a great header on C. A. Pipon Pipon's corner, it was just that Arrows Academy FC's Ged Nightingale managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 17th minute Nicky Bryson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ged Nightingale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guy Hogg in the 19th minute of play. Jannes Ruttens came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Arrows Academy FC's Grzegorz Piechna. But to his dismay, Grzegorz Piechna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Grzegorz Piechna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jannes Ruttens made a huge save. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guy Hogg in the 25th minute of play. Ged Nightingale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicky Bryson in the 27th minute of play. A hard shot 28 in the game by Grzegorz Piechna from a close distance when the talented Jannes Ruttens managed to make a qualified save. C. A. Pipon Pipon's players were relieved. When Arrows Academy FC's Grzegorz Piechna in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. After a rather tough play, Arrows Academy FC's Hugo Bakker got a free kick in the 31st minute. Jannes Ruttens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Piechna, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Hugo Bakker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jannes Ruttens having to make a save. Ged Nightingale was left in no man's land by his defense there! The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicky Bryson made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match C. A. Pipon Pipon got a corner. Arrows Academy FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Al Whatley ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ronalds Koeman was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Arrows Academy FC's Guy Hogg got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ged Nightingale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesario Irazu in the 58th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Nicky Bryson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ged Nightingale. Ged Nightingale yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Pipon Pipon's zone, Grzegorz Piechna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jannes Ruttens came out of the goal and Grzegorz Piechna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Arrows Academy FC booed when C. A. Pipon Pipon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose José didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Arrows Academy FC's Grzegorz Piechna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jannes Ruttens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Arrows Academy FC's Jesús Solano pulled a muscle in his back after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Beto Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beto Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guy Hogg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Benito Morin was substituted for Al Whatley. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wen Jie Ting during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Arrows Academy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wen Jie Ting to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 82 minutes, Grzegorz Piechna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrows Academy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grzegorz Piechna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Bakker came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in C. A.
