Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Petruška, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Tomáš Čišovský made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Martin Petruška had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bodovce FK's Marián Fabula got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Linus Schwerner. 25 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislav Rottmaier. Ivan Fogaš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Fogaš. Bodovce FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 35th minute, Matúš Kračún left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bodovce FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The supporters of Bodovce FK booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bodovce FK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eduard Majer hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Marián Fabula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Ladislav Rottmaier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Petruška in the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Rapoš who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Peter Rapoš got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ivan Fogaš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Bodovce FK's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Ivan Fogaš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bodovce FK fully deserved thier win.
