Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Kilar in the 4th minute of the match. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Bendtsen charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Bendtsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Simon Bendtsen hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Robert Czerwinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Robert Czerwinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denmark's Mikkel Wulff got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slawomir Wawrukiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikkel Wulff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slawomir Wawrukiewicz having to interfere. Konrad Kondysar got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tobiasz Kochanowski. Lars Steen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Sith Lords's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Slawomir Wawrukiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Slawomir Wawrukiewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wincent Teofila kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Mikkel Wulff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikkel Wulff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Slawomir Wawrukiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobiasz Kochanowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Slawomir Wawrukiewicz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Denmark's Chris Nygaard shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Sith Lords's goalkeeper Slawomir Wawrukiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sith Lords's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 61st minute of the match Chris Nygaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Slawomir Wawrukiewicz skillfully saved the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Slawomir Wawrukiewicz. Sith Lords's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Nygaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Konrad Kondysar made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Wasyl Bierfass kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. Chris Nygaards short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Slawomir Wawrukiewicz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Slawomir Wawrukiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Nygaard in the 81st minute. Lars Steen might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Slawomir Wawrukiewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Steen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute, Denmark's Chris Nygaard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Konrad Kondysar made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. 91 minutes into the match, Sith Lords's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Slawomir Wawrukiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Kilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borys Kilar in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Denmark left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sith Lords.
