But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Plaza Babys CF defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Macías. The Plaza Babys CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Macías should have stopped the shot. Wen Yu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Arnout Reekers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Macías prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Abelardo Macías showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Plaza Babys CF's Yasin Saleh slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-2 after 26 minutes of play. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yasin Saleh's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Plaza Babys CF's Abelardo Macías played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 33rd minute of play. Abelardo Macías made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 35th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 1-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Macías, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Macías saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Plaza Babys CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zahar Garzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The supporters of Netherlands booed when Plaza Babys CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yasin Saleh didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Plaza Babys CF's Abelardo Macías got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Luis-Alfredo Belalcaraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kees Mooiweer to maneuver through the defense. Plaza Babys CF's Abelardo Macías proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Plaza Babys CF from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Yasin Saleh made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. Plaza Babys CF's Abelardo Macías played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 97th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Plaza Babys CF could leave the field as winners, despite Netherlands having more of the ball for most of the match.
