In the 25th minute Jan-Moritz Busse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes England's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tiburcio Kiliz who took care of the corner kick. In the 28th minute of the match Zlatni Ljijlani got a corner. England's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tiburcio Kiliz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Zlatni Ljijlani's Tiburcio Kiliz to fire away a dangerous shot which Khalid Kennedy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Jansen hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Zlatni Ljijlani's Lucjan Bejger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Khalid Kennedy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Cox to make the kick off. Mats Winitzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Issac Dawson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, Zlatni Ljijlani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Moritz Busse to maneuver through the defense.
