Ubaldo Matildo Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in murioenmadrid's zone, Felipe Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol came out of the goal and Felipe Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Portugal booed when murioenmadrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Urbez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes in the game Angelo Ibar did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Luisito Ignado. Luisito Ignado didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 33rd minute. murioenmadrid's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 36th minute Luisito Ignado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Matildo Fillol having to interfere. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 44th minute of the match. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Viriato Moura. But to his dismay, Viriato Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Portugal's Felipe Barreto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ubaldo Matildo Fillol. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol was a little too slow when Viriato Moura got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 2-3. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. murioenmadrid's Ubaldo Matildo Fillol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save murioenmadrid from getting a goal against them. After having played for 74 minutes, Luisito Ignado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. murioenmadrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisito Ignado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 76th minute of play forced murioenmadrid's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Fillol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duke Greenan in the 78th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes of play, murioenmadrid's Duke Greenan made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great ball. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Ignado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 86th minute of play. When Bruno Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portugal's protests and gave Bruno Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Portugal! Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 93rd minute. Daniel Pimentel struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. The murioenmadrid support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
