With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silviu Filip prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronaldo Messi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Flavio Vittori when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Silviu Filip stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Zaccheo Andolina came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silviu Filip could save by the left post. A collision led to America De Cali getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Aquiles Telmo hit a great ball. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. After 90 played minutes America De Cali got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Telmo. In the 91st minute, Italy's Adriano Curto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. The America De Cali supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Italy's performance. The match ended with a win for Italy.
