Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Torgny Landin kicked off to start the match. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siebe Michiels in the 3rd minute of play. Jens-Åke Källberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Siebe Michiels went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Casper Claes stood somewhat misplaced when Torgny Landin came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 7 minute. In the 10th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torgny Landin in the 18th minute. Boca Juniors's Niklas Kjellberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guillaume Bonte in the 21 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Åke Källberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute, Lenny Clocheret left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boca Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dimitris Panagiotakis in the 42nd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Vanderstraeten to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Torgny Landin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin. But to his dismay, Torgny Landin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Åke Källberg. Jens-Åke Källberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Jens-Åke Källberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 67 minutes, Torgny Landin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torgny Landin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Landin in the 69th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Landin, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Torgny Landin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens-Åke Källberg. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. In a very dangerous position, a player in Belgium fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! Jens-Åke Källberg was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Edward Vanderstraeten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edward Vanderstraeten really showed his touch with that goal: 3-6. Jens-Åke Källberg made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. 97 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 3-7, to the right of Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg. Jens-Åke Källberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
