Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luca Savino took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cederik Huts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Savino in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Vittori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kickers United's Cederik Huts. Cederik Huts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cederik Huts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siricio Liotta in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Kickers United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels Vandamme to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kickers United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kickers United's goalie and right to Eliseo Cutri. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kickers United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Porziano Marchitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cederik Huts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cederik Huts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 48th minute of play forced Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 69th minute Luca Savino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siricio Liotta made a great header on Italy's corner, it was just that Kickers United's Cederik Huts managed to reach the ball for a save.
