Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Antal Valentin made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Hegedus Henrik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Van Ghele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 4th minute of play forced Club Atlético Lanús's goalkeeper Sven Van Ghele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hong Copeland hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Lothaire Maddox recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel. Lothaire Maddox showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven Van Ghele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Sven Van Ghele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 18th minute of the match. Lothaire Maddox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Van Ghele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 31 minutes, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Takacs Tibor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Van Ghele having to interfere. Katona Janos kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Garfield Watson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lothaire Maddox to strike the kick off in the second half. Lothaire Maddox scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Liviu came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Katona Janos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sven Van Ghele firmly grabbed it by the left post. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atlético Lanús's Sven Van Ghele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 71st minute of play. After 72 played minutes Club Atlético Lanús got a freekick which was hit by Garfield Watson. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murray Schmitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lothaire Maddox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Lanús's Édouard Bacon got a free kick in the 84th minute. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Balazs Lajos. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lothaire Maddox in the 95th minute of the match. After 96 minutes, Garfield Watson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Lanús and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Garfield Watson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
